Ocean Park Beach (Spanish: Playa de Ocean Park) is a spacious public beach located in the Ocean Park neighborhood of Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Stretching nearly 2 miles from Punta Piedrita to Punta Las Marías, it is the largest beach in San Juan and a favorite among locals.

  • Length: Approximately 2 miles

  • Alternate Name: Playa del Último Trolley

  • Ideal Activities: Swimming, surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and sunbathing

The neighborhood features tree-lined streets, cafes, and boutique hotels, contributing to its relaxed atmosphere. The beach is open to the public until 10 PM, and parking is available in the surrounding area.

Safety Tips

While the beach is generally safe, it’s important to be cautious of rip tides and larger waves, especially during certain times of the year. Avoid swimming after dark and always heed local advisories.
